> Reflexology:

Reflexology is a non-invasive, complementary therapy working on reflex points predominantly on the feet, but also hands and face. Reflexologists believe that the body is represented in the foot and that by these reflex points they can dissolve blockages/crystals thus allowing the body to heal itself physically, emotionally and spiritually. Apart from being an incredibly relaxing treatment, reflexology has many benefits. It can help to relieve stress and anxiety, improve sleep and improve circulation.

Zoie is a qualified reflexologist, with additional training in maternity reflexology and mindful reflexology. After receiving a course of treatments during her first pregnancy, Zoie became passionate about reflexology. She found receiving reflexology prepared her spiritually, emotionally and physically for the birth of her child. She has subsequently received regular treatments and finds that reflexology helps manage her stress levels and provides an opportunity for mindfulness in an otherwise busy life. With a background in childcare, Zoie is particularly interested in working with children and parents.

> Reflexology Lymph Drainage:

The lymphatic system is a vital part of the immune system, although it runs parallel to and interacts with the cardiovascular system it is not pumped around the body by the heart and requires movement to enable it to flow. Lymph nodes can become inflamed when there is an infection and swelling can occur when there is an accumulation of fluid that isn’t draining. RLD can help move the fluid build-up and reduce swelling and ease pain. Research has shown that RLD can be helpful in the management of secondary lymphoedema and early indications suggest that it can help to alleviate the symptoms of some auto-immune disorders.

> Facial Reflexology:

As a reflexologist, I believe that 10 zones of the body represented on your feet continue throughout your body and therefore can be found on your face and individual treatment plans can be created specifically to your needs.

The benefits of facial reflexology:

• By working closer to the brain gives a more immediate effect from the reflexology treatment.

• Relieves the effects of stress, can bring about calmness and relaxation.

• Can improve circulation to the face and head area, thereby speeding up the exchange of oxygen, nutrients, carbon dioxide and waste products.

• Can improve lymphatic drainage.

• Can relieves tension in muscle tissue.

• Can relieves mental strain and improves concentration.

• Can helps relieve sinusitis/congestion.

• Can rejuvenate the skin leaving the face glowing and radiant.

This incredibly relaxing treatment lasts for approximately 45 mins.

> Holistic Massage:

By combining pressure and gentle touch, massage is an excellent way to release built-up tension and alleviate muscle pain as well as having many other health benefits. Zoie is qualified in full body massage and will adapt the treatment to treat your particular needs.

> Indian Head Massage:

Indian head massage works on your neck, shoulders and upper back as well as your head and marma points. Not only is the experience very relaxing, but Indian Head Massage can also help to reduce muscle tension, improve sleep, promote hair growth and stimulate lymphatic drainage.
